I was blessed to have Sue Gill attend the home birth of my twins. Hiring her was one of the best decisions that my husband and I have ever made. Sue is professional, extremely knowledgeable, reliable, and caring. She is super vigilant when it comes to preventive care and did everything in her power to help me stay healthy and low risk.
My prenatal appointments were very comprehensive and included my diet, emotional check-ins, as well as routine exams and lab work. Best of all, my other children were able to take park in my prenatal appointments. She took the time to get to know me and build a relationship with me and my family. Sue actually called me while away on vacation just to check in on me and see how I was doing. It wasn’t even close to my due date. I don’t think there is a single OB out there that would do that! I also think it’s important to note that Sue not only tolerated my need to research every decision that was made, but she encouraged and expected me to do so. She never wanted me to simply follow her procedures without knowing the what and the why. All decisions were mutually agreed upon and there were never any surprises.
When it came time for the birth, Sue was even more amazing. She was calm and again, very professional. She knew just when to encourage me, and when to step back and give me space. She carefully monitored me and my babies throughout labor. My labor went smoothly and I can actually say that I enjoyed the process. My babies were born just 3 minutes apart and the second twin was born in the caul. I am so glad that Sue thought to ask her team to take pictures before we lifted her out of the water and broke the sac. We got some pretty amazing photographs.
I will be forever grateful to Sue and her team for trusting me and for trusting in birth. Because of them, I was never separated from my beautiful baby girls. I was able to have a natural, beautiful, empowering birth that left me feeling like the luckiest woman around.

Sue attended my 2nd son’s birth. Wow! We are so grateful! For our first birth we did the Bradley classes and the whole natural birth, but it was in a hospital setting where the environment was far from accommodating. My husband had to basically fight the nurse to tell her that he would sign the paperwork once his wife got through the contraction!! For this second birth, there was no fighting! LOL! We attended our prenatal check-ups as a family, including my then 2-year old son. The waiting room and Sue’s office had plenty of toys and things for him to play with. Each appointment was something I looked forward to. Both my husband and I could ask as many questions as we wanted. The environment was open and welcoming. But what I like most about Sue is her personality. She has a fun, up-front, matter-of-fact, no BS type of personality. It meshed well with our family. Thank you Sue for being a part of such an important event in my family’s life. We appreciate you and what you stand for.
